Chiropractic is a branch of healthcare that focuses on the integrity of your nervous system for health and wellness without the use of drugs or surgery.
Chiropractic is a natural, safe and effective approach to health.
It's a scientific fact that the body is a self healing and rejuvenating organism controlled by your nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves). There are 24 moveable bones called vertebrae that protect this nervous system. If any of these vertebrae become misaligned or lose its ability to move properly, it puts pressure on the nervous system. The lack of movement, misalignment and pressure on the nerves, collectively are called a vertebral subluxation complex. The vertebral subluxation stresses and strains the organs and tissues of the body.
Simply put, interference on the nervous system equals sickness or “dis-ease”. Chiropractic concentrates on these vertebral subluxations and is the only highly trained profession qualified to treat this condition. Removing these vertebral subluxations allows your body to unleash your potential and ability to better function and heal, giving a more energetic outlook.
Who can benefit from chiropractic?
Anyone, from newborns to the elderly can benefit from chiropractic. Chiropractic has helped numerous conditions. Some of the most common conditions we see are low back pain, mid back pain, headaches, arm/shoulder pain, leg/knee/hip pain, neck pain, sciatica, auto injuries and sports injuries. Some patients have noticed improvements in sleep, digestive disorders, asthma, fatigue, blood pressure, carpal tunnel, athletic performance and wellness. When the body is free to heal and rejuvenate itself, there is no telling what improvements can occur. In fact, most of our patients state, “I just feel so much better”.
